Clean macOS install, account setup, app reinstallation and settings restored. For Macs that have become unstable, sluggish or stuck part-way through an upgrade.
Mac Data Recovery & Transfer
Files pulled off a Mac that will not boot, recovery of deleted documents and photos where possible, and honest advice when the drive has physically failed.
MacBook Battery Replacement
For MacBooks that shut down without warning, will not hold charge, or show a service battery warning. Genuine-equivalent batteries fitted and tested.

What We Don't Do
Plenty of repairers will take your money and then tell you the news. We would rather say it up front.
✕Board-level and component-level logic board repair. Micro-soldering on a Mac logic board is a specialist trade with specialist equipment. If that is what your Mac needs, we will say so and point you to someone who does it properly.
✕Storage recovery from Apple silicon Macs with a failed board. On M-series Macs the storage is tied to the logic board. If the board is dead and there was no backup, the honest answer is often that the data cannot be retrieved.
✕Liquid damage miracles. We will open it up, clean what can be cleaned and try to get your data off. We will not promise a machine will come back to life.
You still only pay $50 in those cases, and nothing more.

We do not take on board-level or component-level logic board repair - if that is what your Mac needs, we will tell you honestly and point you toward a specialist.
Usually yes. Slow Macs are most often caused by a nearly full startup disk, too many login items, an ageing battery throttling performance, or a macOS install that needs a clean rebuild. On older Macs still running a mechanical drive, fitting an SSD makes a dramatic difference. We diagnose the actual cause before recommending anything.
Often, yes. If the storage itself is healthy, files can usually be copied off to an external drive or moved across to a replacement machine. If the drive has physically failed, or the Mac uses an Apple silicon chip where storage is tied to the logic board, recovery is harder and sometimes not possible. You will get an honest assessment before you spend anything.
Yes. We handle Mac to Mac migration, PC to Mac transfers and Mac to PC transfers, including documents, photos, email accounts and browser bookmarks. We check the important folders with you before handover so you know everything arrived.
For software, setup and data jobs we usually work on-site at your home or office across South East Melbourne. For hardware work that needs parts ordered, such as a battery or screen, we collect the machine and return it once it is finished. Pickup and return is free.
A standard repair is a flat $150 covering diagnosis, labour, pickup and return. Parts vary by model, so we quote each job individually and never start work before you have approved the cost.
