We Diagnose and Quote
We collect the device, find the fault, and tell you the repair is $150 plus the exact price of the part. Nothing is ordered until you agree.
Most repairers quote a range, add a call-out fee, then bill by the hour. We charge one flat rate for the repair whether it takes twenty minutes or two days, and we collect and return your device at no extra cost. Parts are quoted separately, and never ordered until you say yes.
The $50 is what you pay if you choose not to go ahead. If the repair proceeds it forms part of the $150, so you are never charged twice for looking at it.
A keyboard or screen can take a week to arrive. Most repairers keep your laptop on a shelf for that week. We do not.
We collect the device, find the fault, and tell you the repair is $150 plus the exact price of the part. Nothing is ordered until you agree.
If the part will take days, we return your computer so you can keep working. Free within 10 km of Clayton.
Once the part arrives we pick the device up, fit it, test it and return it. That second collection and return is free within 10 km of Clayton too.
That is up to four trips on a single $150 repair. Further out than 10 km from Clayton we will arrange the return with you when we collect. We would rather you had a working computer than a faster invoice.
Being straight with you about where the flat rate does not apply.
Typical 2026 Melbourne pricing, so you can see what the flat rate actually saves you.
Our $150 covers the diagnosis, all the labour, and the travel both ways. On most jobs that is less than the call-out fee plus one hour elsewhere.
Tell us what it is doing and we will tell you straight away whether it is a $150 job, a $90 job, or not worth fixing at all.
